CEO since 2005, Ralph has been with Woodland Suppy since 1989. A graduate from the University of Manitoba with a BA (Hons) in Commerce, Ralph joined the public accounting firm of Price Water House after graduation. Before long he returned to his family legacy and worked in many aspects of the business from cost accounting to inventory management to estimating & sales and production & operation management. Over the years, Ralph and his management team has led the company through many expansions and changes, overseeing its operations and maintaining the health of the organization.
A co-owner and Woodland’s longest working employee, Bernie has been with the company since 1978. A journeyman Electrician by trade, Woodland was a bigger calling. Bernie has spent his years working in production, production coordination, estimating and over the last years he has brought his broad knowledge of our products and his experience to our sales desk. Bernie is ready to serve 5 days a week, and ready and willing to help any customer navigate through the details of their projects.
A key purchaser, responsible for inventory management and involved in sales and distribution. Brad is a graduate from the University of Winnipeg, majoring in Administrative Studies and Economics. Prior to joining Woodland Supply in 1998, Brad had worked at Kilcona Lumber as a key member of the sales team and at Malcolm Construction where he became the purchaser for Western Canada. Since 2005, he has been a key part of the management team, driving efficiencies in the Distribution Division and stepping into various roles as the company’s growing needs demand.
Since joining Woodland in 1985, Heinz has worked in shipping, retail and later to outside sales in the wholesale division. A great relationship builder, he has been a key figure in building Woodland Supply ’s customer base over the years. In 2007, Heinz became the wholesale sales manager. After Alliance Door Products took over the distribution division, Heinz has been the main liaison between Woodland and its distribution partner. He is also responsible for the rebuilding of the US market.
Angela graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce. Her designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Payroll Compliance Practitioner as well as her years of experience from working at Ernst & Young and Encore Business Solutions give her a balanced approach to her position. She oversees the accounting, payroll and human resources departments as well as being responsible for the financial accounting of Woodland Supply and it’s holding companies. Since joining Woodland in 2009, her professionalism and strong work ethic has made her an important part of the Woodland team.
Young and energetic and always ready to take on new responsibilities, Trevor has quickly found himself as Retail Sales manager. Trevor joined Woodland in June of 2015, after graduating with a diploma in Business Administration from Briercrest College, and a time working construction with Ridgemark Builders. An athlete and a strong team player, Trevor brings a new and engaging attitude to Woodland.
